Laboratory Equipment Engineer

We are PROMOMED Group of Companies, an innovative full–cycle Russian pharmaceutical company engaged in the development, production and promotion of prescription and over-the-counter drugs in socially important therapeutic areas: oncology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, mental health, musculoskeletal system health.

And now we are looking for A laboratory equipment engineer capable of strengthening the team.

What do you have to do:

1. Carrying out maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment both independently and with the involvement of third-party organizations
2. Selection of spare parts and components, creation of a list of spare parts for maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment
3. Participation in the preparation of documentation (URS) on applications for the selection and purchase of new laboratory equipment
4. Development and updating of internal documentation (SOPs, instructions, schedules and maintenance and repair logs)
5. Ensuring uninterrupted operation of the entire range of laboratory equipment in the Company's area of responsibility

Tasks for the period of adaptation

1. Study the QMS documentation of your area of responsibility — policies, quality guidelines, standards, journals
2. To develop maintenance instructions for new laboratory equipment units being put into operation
3. Update the maintenance schedule in accordance with the current list of laboratory equipment
4. Make a list of necessary materials, tools, and devices to ensure maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment

We expect from the candidate:

1. Higher technical, secondary specialized

2. At least 2 years of experience in laboratory equipment maintenance in the pharmaceutical industry

3. Understanding the principles of laboratory equipment operation, for example: spectrometers, chromatographs, microscopes, centrifuges, liquid analyzers, cell counters, etc.

4. The ability to set up, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation

5. Knowledge of safety regulations when working with laboratory equipment

6. Special criteria/competencies: Soft skills – active communication, critical thinking, learning ability

7. Required English level:A2
