Chemical technology is the basis of production

The Head of the Republic of Moldova, Artyom Zdunov, noted at the SPIEF that pharmaceuticals is among the priority areas for the Republic and occupies an important place in the region's investment portfolio. You can get a profession in the pharmaceutical industry by studying at the Institute of High-Tech Technologies and New Materials at the Ogarev Moscow State University.

In 2023, 24 budget places have been allocated for the Chemical Technology direction. Here, students acquire skills in the development and management of technological processes for the production of medicinal substances and finished medicines, master quality control methods for raw materials and finished pharmaceutical products, study the process of technology transfer from the laboratory to the industrial scale, and gain project and personnel management skills in production.

Students practice at one of the largest enterprises in Russia, the manufacturer of medicines JSC Biochemik (Promomed Group of Companies). Within the walls of the university, special disciplines are taught by practical teachers, and full-time employees of the enterprise teach production processes. Graduates of the field work as chemical engineers, chemical technologists, biotechnologists, and research engineers. All 100% of the graduates of the first two streams got a job in their specialty.

Practice-oriented training with obtaining real skills in modern equipment, high demand in the domestic labor market, high wages, participation in the creation and production of new medicines for the treatment of socially significant diseases, strengthening the industrial independence and defense capability of the country make training in the field of Chemical Technology one of the most prestigious.
