Mariana Lysenko is a well–known person in the country's medical community. She is the chief physician of Moscow Hospital No. 52, doctor and medical manager, Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation. The high rank was awarded to her for the fact that she was practically on the front line during the pandemic, even moved to live in her hospital. She shares her experience with colleagues in our region.
"Your hospital is a vivid example of positive changes in medicine!"
The chief doctors, leading specialists of hospitals and polyclinics of Mordovia gathered at the Republican Central Clinical Hospital. Mariana Anatolyevna Lysenko, Chief physician of the Moscow City Clinical Hospital No. 52, Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation, met with the medical community of the republic.
Mariana Lysenko started her acquaintance with the Republican Central Clinical Hospital from the dialysis department. As the guest was convinced, comfortable modern conditions have been created for patients in the department.
"I come here regularly for procedures,— one of the patients told Mariana Anatolyevna. – And then I feel much better.: As they say, you can live! The doctors and nurses here are very attentive.
"You have good doctors,— Mariana Lysenko agreed. – And the department is clean and tidy. I wish you all the best!
At a meeting with the medical community, the guest was told in detail about the capabilities of the MRCCB. High-tech medical technology centers have been established at the hospital: perinatal, regional cardiovascular, and disaster medicine centers. The hospital employs 26 chief freelance specialists from the Ministry of Health of Mordovia. Thanks to the support of the leadership of the country and the region, the air ambulance program has been revived: in emergency cases, patients from the regions of the republic are delivered by a medical helicopter, which saves their transportation time three times. The hospital's specialists are actively engaged in prosthetics. 200,000 patients per year are treated by two polyclinic departments of the MRCCB! 32.6 thousand babies (since 2011) were born in the perinatal center. Medical care in the hospital is provided to the participants of the SVO and their family members.
As noted by Sergey Ladyaev, chief physician of the MRCCB, the hospital has a real opportunity to significantly increase the volume of high-tech medical care so that patients do not have to travel to federal medical centers for treatment.
— Your hospital is a vivid example of the great changes in Russian healthcare, — said Mariana Lysenko. – You have modern walls (and equipment) and modern approaches, absolutely correct logistics. In general, there are a large number of FAPs in the republic. You are retaining specialists in the regions of the Republic of Moldova, and this is the right thing to do. A lot has been done in Mordovia. It is clear that the medical community of the whole country wants to continue the national Healthcare project, and it will continue. The new project is being developed, and the doctors themselves will be actively involved in this process. We all have to participate in this! The government is making great efforts to ensure that medicine in Russia develops correctly and successfully. The personal participation of the head of state, Russian President Vladimir Putin, is very important and valuable.
—The medical community of Mordovia is grateful to the President for the development of the Healthcare project, for the modernization of primary care, for the Zemsky Doctor and Zemsky Paramedic programs," Oleg Markin, Minister of Health of the Republic of Moldova, expressed the general opinion of his colleagues. – We all want the project to continue.
"And it will continue,— Maryana Lysenko emphasized once again. – I wish you good luck and good health to your patients. You have every opportunity to be happy in your profession.
The Russian pharmaceutical industry has a great future.
Mariana Lysenko, the chief physician of Moscow Hospital No. 52, visited Promomed's production sites at the Biochemist drug factory as part of a working trip to Mordovia. Accompanied by Oleg Markin, Minister of Health of Mordovia, and Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed, the guests saw the entire technological chain of drug production.
Mariana Lysenko, chief physician of Moscow Hospital No. 52, paid special attention to drugs aimed at the treatment of overweight, obesity and type 2 diabetes. At the end of 2022, NovoNordisk (Denmark) announced the cessation of supplies of vital medicines for the treatment of diabetic and overweight patients, and in March 2023 it actually stopped shipments. Promomed accepted the challenge and, in cooperation with the Medsintez plant, developed a drug and a pen for its use. Already in the fourth quarter of 2023, drugs entered the market that completely replaced the dropped products of an unfriendly pharmaceutical manufacturer.
"Our facilities are sufficient to cover the demand for innovative medicines for the whole country, as well as to replace foreign medicines if they disappear from the market," says Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed. — At the same time, in terms of price, our drugs are much more affordable than foreign ones."
The company employs real professionals. The plant has a whole complex of laboratories for the development of medicines. This allows us to bring vital drugs to the market for the treatment of socially significant diseases, as well as reduce the cost of production. Thus, the withdrawal of only one anticancer drug made it possible to save more than 600 million rubles of budget money in 2023.
"We have everything we need for a full cycle of drug development and production: from the molecule to the finished dosage form. This allows us to create almost any drugs needed by healthcare professionals and patients, as well as change technologies for well-known drugs, not only reducing their cost, which makes our products more accessible to consumers, but also, most importantly, improving their quality. — says Kira Zaslavskaya, Director of new products at Promomed Group, — So, one of the advantages of our own technology for the production of diabetes drugs is an increase in the purity of the substance several times compared with foreign predecessors, and this improves the tolerability of drugs."
“After looking at the production in Saransk, we understand that the Russian pharmaceutical industry has a great future," Mariana Lysenko, chief physician of Moscow Hospital No. 52, told reporters. — We, as doctors and consumers of medicines, can rest assured of the absolute safety and effectiveness of those drugs that are made at the Biochemist plant. In addition, we are pleasantly surprised by the speed of decision-making at Promomed in those import substitution issues that we face. The withdrawal of a number of suppliers and manufacturers from the pharmaceutical market is seen here not as a problem, but as an incentive for development and improvement.”
Also on this day, Mariana Lysenko met with students of the Ogarev Moscow State University Medical Institute. The conversation turned out to be businesslike and interesting.
