On May 27, Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group of Companies, met with Vladimir Volkov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia. The task set by the President of the country related to import substitution and increasing Russia's export potential, as well as the development of the Biochemist plant in this direction, was discussed.
Recall that on May 16, Vladimir Putin, at the Pravda and Justice media forum of independent regional and local mass media, answering a question from a journalist from Mordovia, announced support for enterprises focused on import substitution in the production of medicines.
"This is one of our key tasks," the head of state stressed. - I am very pleased that they are exporting, and we will certainly support such production. To do this, appropriate rules are adopted within the country on the use of certain drugs. Certain benefits and preferences are created for them. We will continue to do this, it is only important to ensure quality. But the quality can be ensured if you enter the markets of third countries. Then it will be an international product. This is what we will strive for. For our part, we will help you enter and explore these markets."
Currently, Biochemica medicines are supplied to the CIS countries. Last year, the plant opened a sales office in Vietnam. It develops the company and sales markets with the countries of the Persian Gulf and Latin America.
During a business meeting with Vladimir Volkov, Pyotr Bely spoke about the renewal of Biochemik's product portfolio – the replacement of outdated drugs with modern and highly profitable ones. Currently, 150 medicines from various pharmaceutical groups, including the latest fifth–generation antibiotics, are at various stages of development and development of the plant. The Chairman of the Board of Directors also thanked the Head of Mordovia for his support in the implementation of new projects.
Vladimir Volkov emphasized: "The most important issue in the whole world and in all directions is the cost of production. To remain competitive, you need to do this all the time, otherwise you can leave the market."
