The educational camp gathered 70 graduate students from more than 30 pharmaceutical and chemical technology universities in Russia and Belarus in Yaroslavl. The geography of the participants covered the whole country. FILIN has been traditionally bringing together future pharmaceutical industry specialists for 11 years. This year, the main theme of the shift was "Pharmacy of the Future". The program was devoted to the most pressing issues of the pharmaceutical industry: from the development and production of medicines to digital technologies and retail sales.

Victoria Shcherbakova, Medical Director of PROMOMED, conducted an educational seminar for the camp participants and spoke about the full cycle of drug development: from molecule screening, preclinical and clinical trials to their registration. During the seminar, together with the camp participants, a real case study of the Company was conducted. Special emphasis was placed on where future specialists can apply their knowledge and education in this field.
"It was fundamentally important for us not only to provide theoretical knowledge, but also to show students a lively workflow with all its challenges, to involve the seminar participants in a lively dialogue so that they could get acquainted with the current trends and demands of the pharmaceutical industry. We have analyzed in detail the real case of registration of the drug Cladribine tablets, vividly demonstrating how fundamental knowledge in the field of pharmacology and pharmacy is used to solve applied problems — in this case, using a biopharmaceutical approach as part of registration without conducting large-scale clinical trials. Such a workshop is the best way to build a bridge between the university bench and the modern pharmaceutical industry. It is important to show students that their fundamental knowledge can have a practical point of application at all stages of the drug's life cycle, including development, production, preclinical and clinical research. It is only through immersion in real tasks and dialogue with leading industry experts that future professionals are formed who clearly understand current trends and the scope of their tasks," said Victoria Shcherbakova.

Participation in FILIN is in line with PROMOMED's strategy in the field of human resource development and social responsibility. Representatives of the Company's production site, employees of the Biochemist plant, traditionally immerse students in the specifics of their work based on their personal professional experience. Partnership with educational projects allows the Company not only to find promising specialists for further employment, but also to actively influence the educational trajectory of students, introducing them to real industry challenges. For PROMOMED, this is a systematic effort to form an external talent pool and invest in human capital.
