The results of clinical trials of the Russian drug against coronavirus are internationally recognized

The International Registry of Clinical Trials of the National Institutes of Health of the USA – clinicaltrials.gov – published the results of research on the COVID-19 drug Areplivir (favipiravir). In fact, this means that international reviewers recognize the clinical significance of the results of previous studies of the Russian drug, its safety and effectiveness in the fight against coronavirus infection.

Earlier, on September 9, 2020, PROMOMED Group of Companies published on the resource www.clinicaltrials.gov protocol and all materials of clinical trials of Areplivir (FAV052020). After studying, verifying and reviewing the data, international medical experts confirmed that the study was conducted in accordance with accepted international ethical standards, and the results are reliable.

Thus, PROMOMED became the first Russian company developing and manufacturing drugs against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus to publish the full results of clinical trials in a reputable international registry.

International Registry ClinicalTrials.gov It was created to register global clinical trials, effectively analyze them, and exchange opinions with the global medical community. It is managed by the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health and is the largest database of clinical trials with more than 329,000 studies from 209 countries.
