Head of the Bioprocess Development Laboratory

And now we are looking for a Head of the bioprocess development laboratory capable of strengthening the team.

What are you going to do?:

1. Development of strategic, annual and quarterly laboratory work plans and provision of them to management

2. Organization and maintenance of the bioprocess development laboratory

3. Formation and organization of the laboratory budget

4. Ensuring the development and implementation of Bioprocess Development Laboratory plans aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of procedures, as well as optimizing cell lines, cultivation, isolation and purification technologies

5. Regulating and developing Laboratory processes from development to technology transfer

6. Organizing and conducting research projects on the development and optimization of biological processes, including:

   6.1. organization and management of research activities in the field of bioprocess development;

   6.2. control over the preparation and approval of research and development;

   6.3. prompt decision-making at all stages of research and technology transfer in case of deviation from the set parameters;

   6.4. Selection and adaptation of mammalian cell lines expressing monoclonal antibodies;

   6.5. Optimization of cell culture conditions in bioreactors of various scales;

   6.6. Optimization of product purification conditions using various chromatography and filtration methods;

   6.7. maintenance of relevant records, regulations, lists of control points, experimental protocols.

   6.8. organization of technology transfer from CRO (laboratory transfer -receiving party) and to the technology department (technological transfer -transmitting party)

   6.9. organization and conduct of transfer of developed and optimized bioprotesses to the technology department, including: coordination of transfer protocols, provision of laboratory regulations and a list of control points, control, support and support of transfer, evaluation of transfer results;

   6.10. transfer as a host and reproduction of technologies obtained when working with contract laboratories.

We expect from the candidate:

• Higher education: medical, pharmaceutical, biological, chemical, biochemical, biotechnological;

• Work experience in a biotechnological laboratory, transfer site, biotechnological production for at least 7 years;

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GMP, decision No. 89 and other regulatory standards
• Analytical skills: the ability to conduct and interpret the results of analyses, use modern laboratory equipment
• Experience in project planning, organization and control
• Team management: the ability to motivate, train and develop laboratory staff
• Organizational skills: The ability to efficiently allocate resources, plan work, and meet deadlines
• Decision-making: ability to make decisions quickly in conditions of uncertainty or limited resources
• Communication skills: the ability to communicate information clearly and clearly to colleagues and management
• Innovativeness: ability to implement new technologies and methods to improve processes
• Risk analysis: the ability to assess risks and develop strategies to minimize them
• Documentation skills: the ability to prepare reports, technical documentation and sections of the registration dossier
• Result orientation
• Knowledge of programs for data analysis, process management, static results processing, 1C
• English - UpperIntermediate (B2)
