The innovative biopharmaceutical company PROMOMED has launched a single digital production management platform that combines sales, production and procurement planning in one circuit, taking into account the specifics of the pharmaceutical industry. The solution is deployed on the domestic ERP platform 1C:ERP Enterprise Management and covers the full cycle - from laboratories and quality control to packaging and production of finished products. The development is designed to increase transparency and manageability of processes, reduce operational risks and speed up decision-making.

The project was implemented by a joint team of more than 50 PROMOMED specialists in cooperation with partners. The solutions are based entirely on Russian technologies: basic 1C:ERP and industry modules. This reduces dependence on external suppliers and ensures predictable support and development.

The platform acts as the "single brain" of production: It takes into account the requirements of the "Fair Sign", supports integration with external data sources, monitors the workload of laboratories and production lines. The system automatically calculates shortages and offers analogues of raw materials, helps keep cost under control, and provides a single data source for end-to-end analytics and operational fact analysis. In case of an unplanned situation at any stage of production, the platform allows you to quickly adjust the release of medicines.

"We managed to combine the main functions of production and business management on one platform and provide high-quality data for the development of AI in the Group of Companies. All participants in the process had the opportunity to see an objective picture in real time and make quick decisions based on it. In an environment where PROMOMED's growth is many times faster than the pace of market development, the quality of data and the speed of its receipt are critically important," he noted Ivan Kolesnikov, Director of Digital Transformation at PROMOMED.

The implementation of this technological solution has already brought significant results. In January 2026, patients faced a shortage of platinum-based medicines. The Company received a request from the Ministry of Health for the production of Carboplatin. With the help of the created system, PROMOMED specialists assessed the availability of raw materials, the workload of the enterprise and redistributed resources in real time in order to produce the drug as soon as possible. Thus, two weeks later, the drug was put into civil circulation.

"This tool allows you not only to assess the possibility of changing the plan in the current month, but also to assess the impact of the change on the annual plan throughout the Company during the week, assess the need for personnel, materials and take corrective actions to avoid a shortage of medicines for the year. Moreover, the tool allows us to predict the need for capacity expansion, which allows us to implement new, technologically complex projects within the required time frame," commented Alexey Klyuchnikov, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, PROMOMED Production Director.

"The results of the implementation are already visible: first, we have ensured the transparency of the processes. All participants work in a single information space with unified information and agreed plans. Managers and line staff see up-to-date information about plans, deliveries, and statuses. The information is stored and approved within the same system. Secondly, we have adjusted the controllability. The system in a single loop helps to manage 14 production sites, many warehouses and thousands of nomenclature items. The market receives products on time, and the Company can redistribute the load based on objective data. This project has allowed us to shorten the planning cycle, improve the accuracy of forecasts, reduce costs and balance the budget, optimize the supply chain," she stressed Elena Nikolskaya, PROMOMED Commercial Director, Head of the S&OP implementation Project.

The development of digitalization is a consistent and logical continuation of the PROMOMED strategy. The company is growing at a pace 6 times faster than the market, which requires deep automation, standardization and seamless integration of processes. The Group continues to strengthen its technological expertise: in 2026, it plans to implement about 14 projects using artificial intelligence. Among them are digital assistants for planners, laboratory assistants, and registrars of new products; automatic description of the test progress with documentation; scenario modeling and optimization of production capacity utilization.

With the launch of the platform, PROMOMED decided to openly share the experience of its implementation — to talk about the development process, to publish practical cases. A blog has been launched on Habré for this purpose.: https://habr.com/ru/companies/promomed/profile. The first article is available at the link: https://habr.com/ru/specials/1021266.
